Lecturer / Lecturer (Probationary)

We are looking for passionate & knowledgeable professionals to inspire and guide the next generation of students in the following areas:

• Big Data (technologies, architectures, analytics)
• Data Analytics (statistical modelling, ML/AI applications, business intelligence)
• Data Governance and Security (data privacy, ethics, compliance, regulatory frameworks, secure data handling)
• UX/UI Focus, Software Development Practices (DevOps Concepts), Quality Assurance and Testing
• Cloud Infrastructure and platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), Virtualization Concepts (VMs, Containers, Hypervisors), Cloud Economics and Management
• Ethical Hacking and Offensive Security (penetration Testing Methodologies, Vulnerability Assessment, Social Engineering Attacks and Prevention, Capture the Flag (CTF) practice), Defensive Security and Cyber Defense (cyber Forensic)
• Deep Learning (Neural Networks, CNN, RNN), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Time Series Analysis & Forecasting, Optimization Techniques for Data Science.

The Role

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lectures, design curriculum, and prepare course materials.
• Foster a collaborative learning environment through engaging & interactive classroom activities.
• Work closely with the department Head to create Industry learning opportunities and exposure for students.
• Introduce and suggest innovative learning techniques to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Requirements

Lecturer

• A Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in the relevant subject, with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division).
• A two-year Master’s Degree with a research component in the relevant domain.
• At least six (06) years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Teaching at University Level.
  • Industry experience.
  • Research in a recognized Institution.

Lecturer (Probationary)

• A Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in the relevant subject, with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division).
• Should possess a postgraduate diploma level in a 02-year research-based master’s degree in the relevant domain.
• At least three (03) years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Teaching at University Level.
  • Professional experience.
  • Research in a recognized institution.
