Process Engineering Technician

Job Purpose

Facilitate the supply products of high quality with the maximum utilization of resources available, at optimum cost to meet Organizational and Marketing requirements in a timely manner

 

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth functioning of machine/manufacture products to achieve the production targets of the division.

• Careful handling of machine/processes in accordance with relevant operation manuals, procedures and SOP.

• Inform any unusual noises/unusual observations or breakdowns immediately to section head and when required to Engineering and attend as required.

• Maintain machine log sheets/History cards/punch record sheets/ Punch record sheet/ Production Record updated and any other relevant data formats.

• Routine cleaning of machines, area and ensure the GMP conditions and compliance to EHS standards.

• Ensure the maintenance of machine parts, area, utilities and their correct storage. Complete batch documents at on time and correctly.

• Separate any rejects from the line/area label and dispose as per the standard procedures.

• Maintenance of machine efficiency at the expected performance Levels. Implement and participate in waste minimization/kaizen project activities in relevant work area.  

• Updating of individual training records.

• Carry out adjustments and repairs to all Plant, utility and Machinery effectively to comply with QMS, EHS, GES requirements Report for work to ensure plant operation/ activities assigned are done as per the requirement set by management.

• Ensure that all operations are carried out to prevent any risks to personnel and the environment by following EHS and GMP procedures.

• Suggest and assist in implementing any continuous improvements/suggestions related to the work undertaken.

• Review Batch Packing Record and Reconciliation sheets ensure Good Documentation practices are strictly adhered to in all product related documents.

• Perform night shifts, Extended hours, Weekends as necessary and rotate within other value streams. 

 

Qualifications and skills

• NCT/ NCII /NVQ level 3,4 or 5 (Electrical/Mechanical/Pneumatic/ Mechatronic)

• To operate and maintain the high tech machines and to perform manufacturing operation

• 2+ years of experience

• Have a sound knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices
