Role Summary

We are looking for a highly driven, agile, and execution-focused Assistant Manager in Purchasing and Supply Chain. In this versatile, all-rounder role, you will take hands-on ownership of our end-to-end local procurement and international import processes, driving operational excellence and ensuring our landmark solar projects are delivered seamlessly, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement for technical components, PV solar equipment, and business services.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, project operations, and finance teams to prioritize and fulfill project needs.
• Maintain an active, authenticated vendor database and negotiate favorable commercial terms and payment structures.
• Handle international sourcing operations, including tracking shipments, managing LC/TT payments, coordinating with freight forwarders/CHAs, and securing regulatory approvals (TRCSL, SEA, VAT).
• Maintain meticulous records of all supply chain actions (POs, contracts, quotes, Air Waybills, BLs, and technical data sheets).
• Ensure absolute compliance with company processes, financial timelines, and ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).

Requirements/Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in supply chain management, ideally within the renewable energy, engineering, or construction sectors.
• Strong expertise in local procurement, international imports, and custom clearance procedures.
• Proven tracking record of handling vendor relationships and pricing negotiations.
• Excellent cross-functional coordination skills (working closely with Project, Finance, and Technical teams).
• Absolute comfort with a hands-on, execution-focused role in a streamlined operational environment.
