Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Negotiating with suppliers for prices to be with the set budgets or to the best cost and quality advantage to the business.
• Placing orders for packing/raw materials and consumables after getting the approval from the management.
• Oversee raw materials and packing material procurement processes flow alone with ensuring the on-time delivery and completion of all the overdue payments.
• Follow up on deliveries on local suppliers and imported suppliers, through the appointed logistics provider.
• Maintaining and updating raw materials, packing materials and miscellaneous order registers.
• Co-lead & drive projects on introducing new supplier and new materials.
• Identify Non-Inventory & Inventory procurement process to be improved or made more efficient.

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Graduate of a recognised university or possess professional qualification in the field of Logistics/Supply Chain/Procurement Management.
• Able to demonstrate sound working knowledge on Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Sound knowledge on procurement, negotiation skills and experience in packaging manufacturing activity will be an added advantage.
• Should be creative and possess good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
