Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for finding vendors, sourcing, negotiating, & spare parts, engineering, & production consumables overseas or local.
• Evaluate vendor's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the purchase.
• Monitor the imports to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements such as BOI, SLSI & TRCSL.
• Responsible for arranging and coordinating letters of credit [LC], Telegraphic Transfers [TT].

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree or higher qualification in supply chain management/procurement.
• 2-3 years of working experience in the similar capacity to handle the importation of machinery, spare parts and factory consumables.
• Result-oriented motivated team player.
• Strong negotiation skills, good business acumen, excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Working experience in ERP systems.
• Experience in the tire industry will be an added advantage.
