Role Summary

Lead the sourcing and procurement of packing materials for our export tea operations, ensuring reliable supply, quality and cost discipline while strengthening supplier partnerships and improving procurement effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement of packing materials, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely availability.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver sustainable cost savings and build strong, long-term supplier partnerships.
• Drive commercial negotiations, supplier evaluations, and performance management.
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and supply risks to support proactive decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, finance, QA, planning, and marketing.
• Deliver clear reporting, spend analytics, and market intelligence to support management decisions.
• Contribute to building a capable, high-performing procurement team.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Management, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain, with at least 3 years in a similar managerial capacity.
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings, managing supplier performance, and driving procurement outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen with well-developed negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
