Procurement Officer - Rambukkana

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction machinery, heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, plants and workshop tools.
• Strong understanding of maintenance practices, spare parts identification, specifications, and interchangeability for vehicles, machinery, and tools.
• Good knowledge of the local market and a well-established network of suppliers for vehicle, machinery, and spare parts.
• Valid driving license will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate closely with the workshop engineer, project managers, project in charge at site and central workshop, to verify spare parts requirements, technical specifications, and supplier quotations.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend stock replenishment for fast-moving and critical spare parts.
• Ensure the timely delivery of spares to minimize the down time of machinery.
• Ensure all purchases comply with approved specifications, company procurement procedures.
