Manufacturing Engineer

Role Summary

To lead the team by determining the best and most efficient use of the available resources including equipment and labor to meet departmental objectives. The role includes coordination with relevant departments and driving for results.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process, observing control points & equipment and monitoring personnel & resources.
• Implementing cost reductions, take corrective actions for Non conformities via effective root cause analysis.
• Initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments, contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, monitoring & appraising job results, disciplining employees, enforcing systems/policies & procedures.
• Achieve department KPIs.
• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing results and reporting results.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or in any other relevant field.
• At least two (02) years' experience in a reputed Manufacturing firm.
• Fluency in English and computer literacy.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, ISO standards and 6S would be an added advantage.
• Age below 30 years.
