Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Plan production based on targets, forecasts, and stock levels.
• Coordinate daily operations, including raw material availability and production targets while maintaining quality.
• Oversee material receipts, work order documentation, and timely handover of finished goods.
• Track production KPIs, provide management updates, and drive efficiency improvements while controlling costs.
• Foster teamwork, ensure adherence to company guidelines, and maintain team discipline.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and improve SOPs in line with good manufacturing practices.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Handle other tasks/projects as requested by management.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Passionate about making a positive impact for Sri Lanka and its people.
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Food Science/Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in FMCG, production, or manufacturing.
• Higher National Diploma in Food Science/Technology with minimum 5 years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of quality systems, GMP, Quality Assurance processes, and HACCP protocols.
• Knowledge in lean manufacturing is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English, Sinhala, and Tamil.
• Proficiency in IT and MS Office packages.
