Production Line Supervisor

About the Role

Join our growing team at our company, a leading spice manufacturer known for quality and innovation. We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the daily execution of manufacturing schedules, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily production line operations to meet output targets.
• Supervise, motivate, and assign tasks to production floor staff.
• Monitor manufacturing processes in real-time to maintain strict quality standards.
• Conduct pre-shift checks and manage line changeovers efficiently.
• Ensure all staff adhere to food safety (HACCP) and hygiene protocols.
• Troubleshoot production line issues and report equipment faults to maintenance.
• Maintain accurate shift production logs and attendance records.
• Report performance metrics and issues to the Production Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in production supervision or a team-leading role (preferably in the food or spice industry).
• Certificate or Diploma in Food Technology, Production Management, or a related technical field.
• Solid team-leading and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP) and good manufacturing practices.
• Proficiency in recording daily production data and basic manufacturing use.
• Good communication skills in Sinhala and English.
• Age: 25+
