Role Description

  • Overseeing daily production operations related to vehicle interior customization, ensuring all orders are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Planning and scheduling work, allocating resources, and supervising production staff.
  • Monitors workflow, optimizes processes, and coordinates with sales and customer service teams to align production with client requirements.
  • Managing inventory and materials, enforcing safety and housekeeping standards, and maintaining equipment and tools.
  • Tracks production metrics, identifies areas for improvement, and implements practical solutions to increase efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience in production management or supervision within manufacturing, automotive interiors upholstery, or a related field.
  • Strong skills in production planning, workflow coordination, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and quality targets. Knowledge of quality control practices, materials handling, and basic maintenance of production equipment and tools.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team, with skills in performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Competence in problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement, including process optimization and cost control.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a workshop or factory environment and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Computer literacy for using production tracking systems, spreadsheets, and communication tools.
  • Good communication skills in relevant local languages and English, with the ability to coordinate across departments and with management.
  • Relevant vocational training or diploma in manufacturing, Industrial engineering, or a related technical field; higher qualifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in automotive industry, interior work or upholstery, including knowledge of seat covers, laminations, carpets, and related materials, is highly beneficial.
