Role Summary: SEED is an innovative and dynamic NGO based in Vavuniya, dedicated to uplifting vulnerable communities. Current programmes focus on community based socio-economic development, empowerment of vulnerable groups, environmental protection and sustainability, and promotion of social cohesion and peacebuilding.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: A recognized degree or a relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience: Proven Working experience in NGOs, INGOs, or donor-funded projects (03 – 05 years relevant work experience is compulsory).
  • Technical Skills: Computer Proficiency and skills in project monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Soft Skills: Strong Interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to travel to project sites within Vavuniya & Mullaitivu.
  • Willingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • A valid light vehicle driving license is appreciated.
  • A resourceful and proactive individual capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Preferable will be given to candidates living in our proximity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Implementation: Coordinate daily project activities, ensure deliverables align with strategic goals, and maintain project timelines.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E): Track key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct field visits, assess project progress, and record the annual plan achievements.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare periodic progress reports, document project achievements.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate & build partnerships with government bodies & stakeholders.
