Role Summary
SOS Children's Villages Sri Lanka is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Programme Intern to join our National Office team and gain hands-on experience in programme management, development work, research, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. The internship period is 6 months.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates from any academic discipline.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passionate about social development, child rights, community development, and humanitarian work.
- Eager to learn and grow in a professional environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and basic report writing skills (an advantage).
Key Responsibilities (Exposure to)
- Programme planning and implementation
- Research and data analysis
- Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
- Child rights and family strengthening programmes
- Stakeholder coordination and partnership development
- Professional development and organizational processes
Location
National Office – Kesbewa (Preference given to candidates residing in or near Kesbewa and surrounding areas).
