Job Title: Project Engineer (2-Years Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Ekala
Role Summary
The role is responsible for leading and supporting engineering projects related to machine relocations, utility modifications, plant development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting feasibility studies
- Managing project execution
- Coordinating installations and commissioning activities
- Ensuring compliance with engineering, quality, and safety standards
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and efficient technical solutions that support operational excellence and business growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including exposure to industrial project management
- A professional qualification in Project Management will be considered an added advantage
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (MS Project)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities
