Role Summary

John Keells Properties is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer - Planning to join the team at VIMAN. You will be part of a team committed to "Creating New Worlds" in real estate through innovative and sustainable living spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing the master programme to capture all construction and site-related activities, including labour histograms and plant & machinery requirements.
• Preparing monthly progress reports, assessing site progress, predicting potential delays, and preparing catch-up programmes.
• Preparing and maintaining cash flows and cost trackers for the project.
• Reviewing design coordination drawings, liaising with design engineers to mitigate obstructions, and preparing method statements and engineering documents.
• Ensuring site work is carried out according to relevant codes and standards.
• Liaising with design engineers and the drafting team to issue shop drawings and maintaining a drawings registry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in the construction industry, with proven experience in managing construction activities, site operations, and project execution.
• Proven experience in construction planning, project coordination, progress monitoring, and site management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, method statements, and relevant industry standards.
