Skills & Qualifications
- Biological Psychology: BSc/ Master's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Biological Psychology or a closely related discipline. Candidates with an MBBS or a relevant doctoral qualification may also apply. Previous university-level teaching experience is preferred.
- Current Issues in Neuroscience: Master's degree in Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Biological Psychology, Medicine or a closely related discipline. Candidates with an MBBS, PhD or active research experience in neuroscience will be given preference. Previous university-level teaching experience is desirable.
- Research Supervision: Master's degree in Psychology or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience in psychological research. Candidates should have a strong understanding of quantitative and/or qualitative research methods, research ethics, data analysis and academic writing. Previous experience supervising undergraduate research projects or dissertations is preferred.
Job Description
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to teaching and consistently strive for excellence in instructional methods.
- Minimize lecture cancellations and rescheduling, ensuring regular and dependable course delivery.
- Develop and submit comprehensive module plans within the first month of the academic year adhering to the latest guidelines and revising them annually.
- Engage in mentoring and provide academic support to students as needed, ensuring their academic success and development.
- Adhere to all institutional policies and guidelines set by the Centre for Quality Assurance (CCQA).
