We are a leading technology focused company operating from Colombo 3 since 1989. As part of our expansion program, we are looking for an energetic and energetic young individual to handle Government and Local Government business development.

Qualifications & Experience

• GCE A/L with part qualification in Sales and Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of proven corporate experience, with at least 3 years specifically handling public sector tenders, government procurement, and corporate business development
• Experience in selling technical-related products will be an added advantage
• Ability to travel all island based on tender/Quotation requirements
• To conversant in spoken English and Sinhala. Ability to speak Tamil would be a distinct advantage
• Age below 35 years

Key Responsibilities

• To identify Government and Local Government tender requirements
• Preparing and submitting government tenders
• Working with government procurement portals/processes
• Attending pre bid meeting
• Studying tender documents and eligibility criteria
• Preparing commercial proposals
• Coordinating bid bonds, performance guarantees and other documentation
• Managing clarifications and negotiations
• Tracking tender results and contract awards
• Winning or growing government/corporate accounts
