Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure fabrics that align with buyer's design and quality standards.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with fabric suppliers to ensure competitive advantage.
• Collaborate closely with product development teams, production teams, and suppliers to meet product specifications and timelines.
• Liaising with suppliers and relevant internal and external stakeholders to achieve OTD and quality specifications.
• Conduct market research and stay updated on fabric trends, innovations, and sustainability practices.
• Manage long term supplier relationships and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of fabric inventory, purchases, and supplier agreements.
• Preparing MIS reports related to fabric procurement.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Qualification in Marketing / Merchandising and having experience in fabric procurement would be an added advantage.
• 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
• Age below 40 years.
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills & work in a team-based environment.
• Ability to lead and make rational decision in a fast-paced environment.
