Role Summary

China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC) is a world-class leader in the construction industry, overseeing a vast portfolio of operations across South Asia and Southeast Asia. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our regional office in Sri Lanka.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 - 15 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in the construction industry, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, construction quality standards, and applicable international codes.
• Experience with international or multinational construction companies will be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to drive continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.
• Ensure quality compliance across regional construction projects through audits, inspections, and performance monitoring.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve quality excellence.
• Provide quality leadership and technical support to project teams and stakeholders.
• Manage quality documentation, reporting, and external/internal audits.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on quality-related matters.
