Quality Assurance Executive (Male)

Role Summary

Tradlanka Agricultural Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd is a leading exporter of Sri Lankan rice, spices, coconut products, and other commodities to global supermarket and hypermarket chains. We are seeking a male candidate for the post of Quality Assurance Executive (Food).

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Food Science/Food Technology or related field from a reputed university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a food processing/manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge and work experience in ISO 22000/HACCP and GMP practices, regulations, and documentation.
• Knowledge of USDA, EU, and JAS organic certifications, regulations, and documentation.
• Willingness to work extended hours when needed.
• Commitment to the position for at least 2-4 years.
• Ability to travel for quality auditing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee quality in all aspects and travel to check the quality of food items.
• Maintain quality objectives and support the corporate business plan.
• Manage and update system documents in compliance with ISO 22000 and organic food certifications.
• Conduct customer complaint root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Create, review, update, and monitor policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Develop and update product specifications and process flow charts.
• Liaise and maintain business relationships with external auditors.
• Monitor and review products and processes in compliance with established quality/food safety management systems (GMP and QM).
• Analyze raw materials and semi-finished goods.
• Train employees on quality requirements and GMP standards.
• Guide a team with effective leadership skills.
