QA/QC Engineer

Role Summary

Lal Construction & Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is a leading C1-graded Civil Engineering company in Sri Lanka, delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects with over 20 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and ISO standards on site.
• Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs for project compliance.
• Conduct inspections and tests on materials, workmanship, and site activities.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and records.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards.
• Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and monitor resolutions.
• Ensure all works comply with approved method statements, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering, NDT, TTI, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in building construction projects, including 5 years as a QA/QC Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and ISO quality standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering software.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
