Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented, driven Associate QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and other QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and issue resolution.
• Actively participate in test planning activities.
• Design comprehensive, well-structured test cases achieving maximum test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on Web and Mobile applications.
• Participate in test automation and performance testing using tools like Selenium, JMeter, and Locust.
• Employ understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, client-server architecture, and REST APIs to perform API and DB testing.
• Track issues, identify root causes, provide comprehensive bug reports, and maintain the defect management cycle.
• Provide relevant documentation and test summary reports.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Passion for delivering high-quality software and improving QA practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of Quality Assurance experience in Agile projects.
• Experience in Test Automation, basic scripting, and performance testing (Selenium, JMeter, or Locust) is a plus.
• Basic programming knowledge in at least one language (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.) is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing on Web and Mobile applications, including browser Dev Tools.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman and SOAPUI.
• Basic database testing experience in MySQL and MongoDB with familiarity in tools like SQL Workbench and Mongo Compass.
• Experience in bug reporting and defect management using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
