Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Summary

Orysys Limited is seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to support strategic banking initiatives. The successful candidate will work alongside developers and business analysts to validate software functionality and ensure all products meet specific business requirements within the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop thorough and structured test cases based on technical design and requirement analysis.
• Conduct manual and automated testing across mobile, web, and API platforms.
• Manage the defect lifecycle by identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs via tools like JIRA.
• Perform regression testing and support post-production verification and UAT.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Maintain automation scripts using frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Assist with performance and security testing as needed.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of practical experience in software quality assurance.
• Proficiency in SQL and API testing tools like Postman.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the defect lifecycle.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
