QA Manager - Bernard Philknit (Ceylon) (Pvt) Ltd

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems.
• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams.
• Ensure compliance with customer quality standards and company policies.
• Monitor production quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Work closely with production, merchandising, and technical teams to achieve quality objectives.
• Prepare and analyze quality reports and KPIs for management review.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in quality management within the apparel industry.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric inspection, AQL standards, and quality systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Loyal Customers and compliance requirements is an advantage.
• Proficiency in quality reporting systems.
