The ideal candidate should
- Age preferably between 25 to 30 years
- NDT (Polymer Science) or Diploma from the PRI and appropriate training or experience in rubber
- related industry Experience in tyre related industry and/or quality assurance work would be an added qualification
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Sinhala and strong skills in computer applications
- Good leadership skills, analytical skills for problem solving and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent ability to understand the technical processes in manufacturing and the ability in work independently
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and be familiar with the processes, standards and equipment used in the factories.
- Monitor production quantities and coordinate the production at the factories
- Visit the outstation factories for process inspections from time to time
- Assist with internal technical training programs
- Assist in inspections of failures occurring in tyres, maintain records, analyze
- Liaise with Sales Dept and customers regarding technical concerns
- and compile reports as required
- Assist with new product testing and new projects
