Quality Control Lead
Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Supervisor to ensure product quality and compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily quality assurance and quality control activities, monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily Quality Control operations.
- Conduct raw material, in-process, and finished product inspections.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP).
- Review laboratory test results and quality records.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare quality reports and monitor KPIs.
- Maintain laboratory equipment calibration and housekeeping.
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits & drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, and external laboratories.
Requirements/Qualifications
- A Diploma or NVQ Level qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and quality management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation.
- Ability to lead a team and work effectively under pressure.
