Quality Assurance Executive

Role Summary

Chemitrade Industrial Coatings (Pvt) Ltd is a well-established Wood Coating & Industrial Paints Manufacturing Company seeking a dedicated and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Executive to join our factory team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished ink products.
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Standards (SLS), customer specifications and internal quality requirements.
• Assist in implementation, maintenance, and improvement of ISO 9001 Quality Management System documentation.
• Prepare and maintain test reports, SOPs, work instructions and quality records.
• Support internal audits, external audits (ISO / SLS) and corrective action activities.
• Monitor production processes to ensure consistent product quality.
• Assist in investigation of non-conformities and CAPA activities.
• Maintain GMP, 5S and laboratory safety practices.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) in Chemistry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in paint or chemical manufacturing.
• A Diploma in Quality Management from SLSI will be an added advantage.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Skills & Competencies: Basic knowledge of laboratory testing, willingness to learn ISO 9001 and SLS requirements, good attention to detail and documentation skills, and team player with good communication skills.
