Requirements
- Degree / HND / Diploma or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor is mandatory
- Experience in Water Board / water supply projects and other civil construction projects
- Very good practical knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs and site measurements
- Strong knowledge of variance analysis, rate analysis, cost estimation, budgeting and cost control
- Sound knowledge of interim valuations, variations, claims and final account preparation
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and contract documents
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD
Key Responsibilities
- BOQ preparation and review; quantity take-offs and site measurements
- Cost estimates, budgets, rate analyses, variance analysis and project cost control
- Interim payment applications, valuations, variations, claims and final accounts
- Material reconciliation, subcontractor evaluations, cost reports and project forecasts
- Coordination with engineers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
