We are now looking for a dynamic Research & Development Executive to strengthen our innovation journey and take our Ayurvedic cosmetic portfolio to the next level.

The Role

To assist the Director R&D in managing end-to-end product development, supervising laboratory operations, driving process and formula optimizations, maintaining ISO/GMP compliance, and assisting in team supervision to bring innovative Ayurvedic and herbal products to market.

Key Responsibilities

• R&D Operations & Supervision: Lead R&D projects from raw material selection through lab batches, pilot trials, and commercial transition.
• Formulation & Process Development: Formulate new Ayurvedic/cosmetic products and optimize existing formulations for stability, cost efficiency, and efficacy.
• Manufacturing Oversight: Monitor bulk mixing and processing to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and adherence to manufacturing instructions.
• Quality & ISO Compliance: Support ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 22716 Cosmetic GMP systems; lead internal/external audit prep and handle corrective actions.
• Lab Management & Clinical Oversight: Oversee analytical testing, shelf-life/stability studies, microbial limits, and validation of clinical trials for materials and finished goods.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with QA, Regulatory, Marketing, and Production to align technical specifications, labels, and artwork with regulatory standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise R&D Executives and Lab Technicians, managing equipment calibration, lab safety standards, and team productivity.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Herbal Technology, Ayurvedic Science, or a related discipline. (Master's degree is a plus).
• Experience: 5-6 years of industrial R&D experience (preferably in Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical, or Ayurvedic manufacturing), including 2-3 years in a senior executive or supervisory role.
