Medical Transcriptionist - Radiology Department

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and transcribe diagnostic reports including Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and X-Ray reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of tests and procedures into the system.
- Assist in maintaining consumable and drug stores under the guidance of the In Charge - Radiographer.
- Coordinate with patients regarding the collection and dispatch of diagnostic reports.
- Support the Radiology team in maintaining efficient day-to-day operations.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level with three simple passes in any stream.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical services environment is preferred.
- A minimum one year of experience as a Clerk in a Radiology Department or a similar role in a reputed healthcare institution will be an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel with good typing speed and a high level of accuracy.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to work on a shift basis including evening and night shifts.
