Area Manager

Location: Colombo / Islandwide

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of multiple outlets within the assigned area.
• Ensure all outlets maintain the highest standards of customer service, product quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
• Drive sales growth and achieve business targets across all assigned outlets.
• Monitor outlet performance, analyze sales reports, and implement action plans to improve profitability.
• Conduct regular outlet visits, operational audits, and performance reviews.
• Lead, coach, and develop Outlet Managers and outlet teams to achieve company objectives.
• Ensure effective manpower planning, staff productivity, and succession planning across outlets.
• Monitor and control food costs, wastage, inventory levels, and overall operational expenses.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints and operational issues promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth business operations.
• Support new outlet openings and operational improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Professional Qualification in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the Café, Coffee Shop, F&B, or Hospitality industry.
• Hands-on experience in coffee shop operations is mandatory.
• Previous experience in managing multiple outlets or handling an operational area will be a significant advantage.
• Strong knowledge of café operations, customer service standards, and team management.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams to achieve operational and financial targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and operational reporting.
• Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
