District Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily branch and rider operations within the assigned district.
• Ensure timely collection, delivery, and return of parcels as per company KPIs.
• Track rider performance, attendance, and discipline; take corrective action when required.
• Coordinate with Branch Assistants and Operations team to resolve delivery issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and fixed assets at branch level.
• Conduct regular branch visits and submit performance reports to management.
• Handle customer escalations and operational complaints within the district.
• Support rider recruitment, onboarding, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification; Diploma or Degree in Management / Logistics is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in courier, logistics, or operations supervision.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of delivery operations and route management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
• Good communication skills in Sinhala and English (Tamil is an added advantage).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple branches.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
