Requirements
- Registered Nurse (General) – valid registration with the Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC).
- Diploma in Nursing or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital service unit. Fresh candidates may also apply.
- Sound knowledge of patient care standards and infection control practices.
- Ability to monitor patients and identify changes in their condition.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with the Hospital Information System (HIS) will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in the service units.
- Monitor and accurately record patients' vital signs and overall condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
- Assist doctors during ward rounds and clinical procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort, hygiene, and basic daily care needs.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation in the HIS.
- Follow hospital policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and report any changes to the nurse in charge.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
