Requirements / Qualifications

Qualified Pharmacist

• B.Pharm Degree / NVQ Level 5 or equivalent Pharmacy Qualification
• Registered Pharmacist with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC)
• Minimum 02 years’ experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy
• Good knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Computer literacy will be an added advantage

Assistant Pharmacist

• Registered Apprentice Pharmacist with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC)
• Minimum 01 year experience in a pharmacy will be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a team
• Computer literacy will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and OTC medicines accurately (according to authorization level)
• Assist customers with professional healthcare advice
• Maintain pharmacy standards and regulatory compliance
• Monitor stock levels and expiry dates
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized pharmacy
• Support health awareness campaigns and promotional activities
