Business Lending Research & Outreach Specialist

Role Summary

We are looking for a Business Lending Research & Outreach Specialist to join our Product Team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, verifying, and organizing funding products offered by banks, credit unions, and other lenders across the United States. You will build and maintain our internal Funding Intelligence Database to ensure information is accurate and up to date for our Strategy Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research business lending products offered by banks, credit unions, and other lenders.
  • Make outbound calls to financial institutions to verify product information and answer research questions.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with banks and lending professionals.
  • Collect, organize, and update information on lending products, including eligibility requirements, documentation, funding timelines, pricing, and application processes.
  • Maintain the company's Funding Intelligence Database by ensuring all information is accurate and current.
  • Monitor changes to lending products, policies, and market trends.
  • Prepare research summaries and reports for the Strategy and Product Teams.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure research findings are properly documented and maintained.

Working Hours

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pacific Time (California). Candidates must be available to work these hours regardless of their country of residence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business banking, commercial banking, treasury management, business lending, or financial services.
  • Previous experience selling business banking or commercial lending products is highly preferred.
  • Strong experience in outbound calling, relationship building, and professional communication.
  • Strong online research and information-gathering skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM or database management systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to work during U.S. business hours and remain available until 4:00 PM Pacific Time (California).

Compensation

A competitive compensation package will be offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
