Research Assistant

Role Summary

Uva Wellassa University is seeking a full-time Research Assistant for the project "Rural Modernization Without Urbanization in Sri Lanka: A Mixed-Method Development Economics Assessment of Sustainable Growth Pathways". The selected candidate must be willing to register for a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree at the university.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research activities as part of the project.
• Commit to a two-year contract period.
• Register as a full-time MPhil student at Uva Wellassa University.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Economics, Human Resource Development, or a related field with a 1st or 2nd class upper division.
• Working knowledge and experience in research and publication is an added advantage.
