Retail Sales Associate and Cashier
Role Summary
Hettigoda Group, the leading Ayurvedic product manufacturing and marketing organization, is seeking a Cashier cum Sales Assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cashier duties including handling transactions and updating the system for both services and product purchases.
- Oversee stock handling, inventory updates, and place orders as needed.
- Assist customers with purchasing decisions and promote Ayurvedic products.
- Prepare and submit daily income reports to the Head Office.
- Enter guest and sales details into the system accurately.
- Manage overall transactions and maintain accurate cash balances.
- Handle incoming phone calls and customer inquiries courteously.
- Ensure a welcoming, serene environment for customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role involving cashiering, front office, or sales.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work extended hours including weekends and holidays.
