Role Summary

Renrui Lanka is expanding its talent pool and is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be assigned to one of our multinational clients and will work closely with the client's engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge mobile network technologies, including GSM, LTE, and 5G, while supporting the planning, optimization, and performance enhancement of large-scale radio access networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform RF planning and optimization for GSM, LTE, and 5G networks, including coverage, capacity, frequency, and RF parameter planning.
• Monitor and analyze network performance KPIs to identify optimization opportunities and improve overall network quality and customer experience.
• Conduct drive tests and analyze network performance using industry-standard RF optimization tools to identify and resolve coverage, interference, and mobility issues.
• Support site integration, network expansion, modernization activities, and post-deployment optimization to ensure optimal network performance.
• Perform RF optimization activities, including antenna optimization, power balancing, load balancing, and interference mitigation.
• Collaborate with the client's engineering team to troubleshoot network issues, prepare performance reports, and recommend continuous network improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in RF Planning and Radio Network Optimization with strong knowledge of GSM, LTE, and 5G NR technologies.
• Proven experience in coverage & capacity planning, RF optimization, mobility optimization, interference analysis, network modernization, and site integration.
• Hands-on experience with ZTE RAN products, OSS/NMS platforms, and RF optimization tools such as TEMS Investigation, Nemo Outdoor, Actix, PHU, or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools, with knowledge of Python, SQL, or automation tools considered an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills with good command of English; Sinhala and/or Tamil proficiency will be an added advantage.
