Role Summary

The Executive – Risk Management supports the Head of Risk Management in implementing the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework through risk identification, assessments, monitoring, reporting, and analysis. The role also supports the development of risk reports, maintenance of risk management tools, and the promotion of effective risk management practices across the Company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework through risk identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, and analysis across key risk categories.
• Assist in monitoring risk exposures through Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), risk models, and data analysis, and support the development of appropriate risk mitigation actions.
• Support the preparation of risk reports, dashboards, and management information for Management and Board Committees.
• Monitor emerging risks, business developments, and changes in the external environment, and support the evaluation of appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Head of Risk Management by maintaining risk registers, coordinating committee meetings, maintaining departmental records, and supporting other risk management activities.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Banking, Finance, Management, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline, or a full or part professional qualification in Risk Management, CA, CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Risk Management, Finance, Internal Audit, Compliance, or a related function within the financial services industry.
• Good understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), risk assessment methodologies, risk monitoring techniques, and the regulatory framework applicable to the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• A strong learning mindset with a genuine interest in exploring and developing expertise in Risk Management.
