Rotary Packaging and Tea Bag Machine Technician

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to maintain and troubleshoot our rotary packing and tea bagging machinery, ensuring maximum production efficiency and minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotary packing machines and tea bag machines.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
• Conduct machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as required.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth machine operations.
• Maintain maintenance records and report recurring equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
• Assist in machinery improvement and efficiency enhancement initiatives.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Successfully completed GCE A/L with a Technical qualification (NVQ/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
• 2–5 years' experience in machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with tea packaging machinery will be a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, sensors, and pneumatics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production requirements.
