Role Summary

David Pieris Motor Company (Pvt) Ltd is the largest automotive company in Sri Lanka, serving the vast majority with its hallmark of affordability, reliability and economy. The Company is the sole distributor for Bajaj and KTM in Sri Lanka. In addition, the Company is also a distributor of MRF, ATLAS and ORION tyres in Sri Lanka. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with the annual business goals related to each product category.
• Analyze and present marketing performance matrix and provide insights to the management for business growth.
• Research emerging marketing trends and evaluate opportunities to implement new initiatives that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
• Lead implementation of centralized marketing projects, product launches, and brand activations to enhance product visibility and customer confidence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external service providers, and business partners to ensure successful marketing initiatives.
• Monitor and report on marketing effectiveness, product performance, achievement of expected KPI's and ROI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
• Professional qualification in CIM, CIMA (fully or partly qualified), or an equivalent recognized professional qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in sales and marketing, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Innovative mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive new initiatives.
• Experience in the automotive or spare parts industry will be an added advantage.
