Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors to increase Hiru Rice sales.
  • Identify and develop new customer bases within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
  • Conduct regular market visits to promote Hiru Rice products and gather information on competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Present product features, quality standards, and pricing information to potential customers.
  • Ensure timely order collection, processing, and coordination with the sales and transport teams for smooth product delivery.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and support the collection process.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update market intelligence regularly.
  • Build and strengthen customer loyalty through excellent service and relationship management.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination. G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food products, rice sales, FMCG sales, or a similar sales role.
