Salesforce Consultant
Role Summary
John Keells Information Technology (JKIT) is seeking a Salesforce Consultant to join our team. The selected candidate will report to the Practice Manager and contribute to our cloud-native digital transformation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; conduct workshops; prepare user stories and functional specifications; perform gap analyses; and recommend Salesforce best practices.
- Design, configure, and enhance Salesforce solutions, including platform configuration, automation, security, reports, and dashboards.
- Support end-to-end Salesforce implementations, including solution design, data migration, testing, UAT, deployments, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Manage assigned workstreams, ensuring timely delivery, quality documentation, stakeholder communication, and effective user support and training.
- Develop reports and analytics, drive continuous platform improvements, and support roadmap planning, pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, and proposal preparation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce administration, consulting, implementation, or application support.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration, Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud, security, reporting, dashboards, UAT, deployments, and release management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and teamwork skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Preferred: Salesforce Certified Administrator certification. Knowledge of Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, APIs, DevOps, data migration tools, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Field Service, CPQ, ERP/SAP integrations, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
