Security Lead

Role Summary

Taj Samudra Colombo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Security Department as a Security Supervisor to contribute to the safety, security, and smooth operations of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Security Department.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, associates, visitors, and hotel property at all times.
• Monitor security personnel and ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns.
• Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper access control and monitor entry and exit points of the hotel.
• Supervise fire safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and performance monitoring for security associates.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in security, preferably in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• A Degree or Diploma (National Diploma in OSH) from a recognized university will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a team effectively.
• Must be in the rank of commissioned officer or a warrant officer in tri forces.
