Role Summary

Applications are invited for the position of Security Guard at Colombo Dockyard PLC.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications:
  • Education up to G.C.E. O/L.
  • Minimum 22 years of service in the Armed Forces (Army rank of Sergeant or above, or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force).
• Additional Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of fire fighting, first aid, and industrial security.
  • Ability to identify and respond to emergencies/hazards.
  • Ability to conduct investigations.
  • Computer literacy is considered an added qualification.
  • Must possess good physical health and the ability to work in a challenging/industrial environment.

Employment Terms

Selected candidates will be recruited on a contract basis for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
