Key Responsibilities
- Total responsibility for the efficient functioning of the finance functions of the companies assigned.
- Monitor daily sales, revenue, cashier collections, and cash handling procedures.
- Verify daily cash collections, POS reports, card settlements, and revenue summaries.
- Ensure on-time delivery of reports, documents, and financial statements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports and reconciliations.
- Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, and coordinate payment processing.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Officer regarding purchases, supplier balances, stock movements, and inventory.
- Review inventory reports, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with the cost controller.
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, cash balances, and credit card settlements.
- Assist with payroll-related processes and ensure statutory payments (EPF, ETF, APIT, TDL) are processed on time.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Assist with audits by providing reconciliations, reports, invoices, and payment records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, auditors, banks, consultants, and internal departments.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Professional qualification in CA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in hospitality or multi-entity operations.
- Previous experience in the hospitality field is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Must be willing to travel to work locations out of Colombo as and when required.
