Senior Software Engineer - AI Assistant Coding (Contract 1 Year)

Role Summary

We're seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join our team and drive innovation at the intersection of software development and artificial intelligence. In this role, you'll leverage cutting-edge AI tools and automated coding platforms to accelerate development cycles, improve code quality, and mentor teams in AI-assisted development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex software systems using AI-powered development tools and automated coding assistants.
• Lead the integration of AI coding tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and similar platforms) into our development workflow.
• Develop frameworks and best practices for AI-assisted software development across the organization.
• Build and maintain automated code generation pipelines and tools that enhance developer productivity.
• Architect solutions that leverage LLMs and AI models for code review, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on effective use of AI coding tools and automated development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven development acceleration.
• Stay current with emerging AI coding technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our engineering processes.

Requirements/Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, TypeScript, Java, Go, or similar).
• Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants and automated development tools in production environments.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with prompt engineering and optimizing interactions with AI coding tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug AI-generated code effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Preferred: Experience integrating LLM APIs into development workflows, establishing coding standards for AI-generated code, and knowledge of security considerations.
