Role Summary

Recruitment to the post of Senior Assistant Auditor General in Class I of the Executive Service Category of the Sri Lanka State Audit Service on Direct Stream - 2026.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will serve within the Sri Lanka State Audit Service. The appointment is subject to a three-year probation period. The Efficiency Bar Examination should be passed within 3 years of appointment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Age: Not less than 35 years on 17th August 2026 and not more than 45 years on that date.
• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Character: Must be of excellent and moral character and not be a clergy of any religion.
• Educational Qualifications: Marks are awarded based on Additional Educational Qualifications (Degree, Special Degree, etc.), Additional Professional Qualifications (Chartered Accountants, etc.), and Information Technology/Computer Knowledge.
• Experience: 12 years of service experience at the executive level in a relevant field is required.
• Physical Fitness: Must be of sound physical and mental health.
