Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Regional Office and Head Office and ensure smooth operations in the Branch in the absence of the Branch Manager and carry out tasks assigned by the Branch Manager
• Ensure smooth conduct of Cash management including foreign currency, ATM operations, balancing and insurance requirements
• Closely monitor customer service provided by the operations staff and intervene where necessary and sort out issues in a professional manner
• Ensure that KYC, AML and FIU requirements are complied with and CBSL reporting is carried out where necessary
• Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, and FIU requirements, including timely and accurate CBSL reporting where applicable.
• Coordinate and support branch-level marketing campaigns to canvass new business and expand the customer base.

Candidate Prerequisites:

• Full or part qualification in Banking from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL).
• Minimum of 06 – 08 years of experience in commercial banking, including 03 – 04 years in branch operational functions.
• In-depth knowledge of banking policies and procedures, operational processes, foreign exchange transactions, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
• Strong marketing and sales orientation with sound business acumen.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong flair for public relations and stakeholder management.
