Technician/Senior Technician - Facilities & Building Maintenance

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or technical services.
• NVQ Level 4 or above in Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong practical knowledge in HVAC, electrical systems, generators, UPS, and ELV systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Willingness to attend emergency breakdowns and work on a shift or on-call basis when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of essential building systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, generators, UPS, ELV, and plumbing.
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults with minimal downtime.
• Conducting routine inspections and testing of equipment to ensure compliance with required safety and operational standards.
• Supporting installation, commissioning, and supervising contractors for new projects and refurbishments.
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation, maintenance logs, and asset records.
• Coordinating with vendors and service providers, evaluating technical solutions, and ensuring high-quality work output.
